Lily Moran is a West Virginian at heart. Born in California and raised in southern Ohio and West Virginia, Lily found her home in Appalachia and built her personal and professional life in the Mountain State.
After graduating from Capital High School in Charleston, Lily studied anthropology, sociology, and communications at West Virginia University. Her interest in people, culture, communications, and community remains a common thread throughout her professional life.
Lily has more than 15 years of experience in office management, business administration, organizational operations, and client services. Before joining HartmanCosco, she spent a decade working in administrative and management roles, including medical office management and the health and nutrition field.
Lily joined HartmanCosco Government Relations in 2021, and her role has grown alongside the firm. During the past five years, she has supported clients, coordinated events and projects, managed logistics, and supported the day-to-day systems that allow the firm's clients to succeed. As Director of Operations at HartmanCosco, she oversees the firm's administrative and operational functions and brings together people, information, and resources across a wide range of projects and initiatives.
Outside of her professional work, Lily is a mental health advocate and certified yoga teacher. She has trained in trauma-informed approaches to yoga instruction with an emphasis on serving individuals in recovery. Her broader interests in wellness, spirituality, personal development, and service reflect her curiosity about people.
Lily and her husband, Michael, a military veteran, share a deep love for people, spirituality, and service to West Virginia. She is especially passionate about building meaningful relationships, bringing people together, and contributing to the communities and organizations that make West Virginia home.
